God Is Love..

Hey everyone!

I know it has been a few months since I've posted on my site. Please forgive me for that. Life has been progressing fast over here. I can't believe it's already October almost November! Just wanted to recap both of my Facebook Lives & Instagram Live I had on August 31st and September 6th titled "What Is My Truth?". If you missed out and want to watch it, you could do so on Truth By Bella's Facebook Page (Click the "f" button below to be linked directly to the page)

The title What Is My Truth? posed a bold, curious question that everyone had wondering. If you guys tuned in on either one of those lives, I spoke about how I started blogging because it was something that was on my heart. I always had friends coming to me, asking me for advice, and engaging in conversing about life with strangers to receive different perspectives. My personality has attracted so many individuals to connect with and want to help me grow. That is one thing I'm truly thankful for.

GodisLove

One person I could never forget is GOD! I always say God is Love which is entirely true. No arguments on that. When I started blogging 3 years ago, I was dealing with so much at once such as Preparing For School, Work, & Personal Things. I wasn't the type of person to read other people's blogs or watch YouTube videos on tutorials or even inspirational videos. I took time out one day on my summer and prayed on what I should do. As a child of God, prayer is essential in my life! I started off posting my poetry which I secretly used to write and then showcasing my photography. However, I always wanted to know why did most people come to me for advice. If you know me personally, you know that I have always been an individual who would rather express the Truth instead of a lie to you. 3 years ago, my attitude wasn't the best in the world. Looking back now, I'm glad I've become a better ME! I always stayed truthful to who I was as an individual. That is something that I always encourage everyone to do. BE TRUTHFUL TO WHO YOU ARE! Don't allow people to influence nor change who you are. Just because everyone is doing something, doesn't mean you should be doing the same. Be different.

God truly opened my eyes these past few months! I came to a realization of so much things that were right in front of me. In my "What Is My Truth?", I spoke about how I was over the worldly idea of  "love" because of so many things I've been through in past relationships. However I found a new Love that was different than what I experience before. I found my Love in God to be eternal, faithful, ever-lasting, and so much more. With that being said, I will forever say "GOD IS LOVE!" Everything takes time. If you always ask for something and expect it to be automatically given to you. I gained patience and took time out to focus on myself. I discovered my purpose and what I am called to do.

I truly want to encourage everyone to find their purpose in life like what makes you You and also make sure to take time out to mediate, elaborate and pray over your next actions before going for it!

Fill your hearts with Love, eliminate the Hate!

Graduation Szn

As the month of May comes to an end, College Graduation Season was all around us in which I call Graduation Season. It's almost summer now! On Friday May 12th, I became a Rider University Alumna. It still hasn't hit me that I'm fully an adult on this real world. Trust me, having a babyface has its advantages and disadvantages. When I tell people that I'm done with college and did my full 4 years, their faces light up with shock. It is nothing new at this point. Finally a 21 year old, Ghanaian girl with a degree! I must say my 4 years has been such a journey. I know I'm not the only person that felt that way. One thing I could proclaim is that I learned so much about myself as a person. From my freshman year to my last days of my senior year in college, I have truly bloomed as an individual.

Of course, I have friends who didn't finish with college around the same time as me. Whether they have another semester or another year to do, it is perfectly fine. What I want to say to those who aren't finished with college, all that matters is you finish what you started. Even to my fellow graduates, it is okay to not have everything figured out right now after graduation. Get ready to constantly hear the question "What's Next?". I can't even count how many times I've already heard that. I remember back in my middle school days at North Star Academy when we did the Call & Response. One response goes along the line I will always remember is that "Be the change in the world that I want to see". Every day it is important to remind yourself that you are capable of doing anything even setting how your day will go. Never allow any person to dictate what emotion your day will be radiate around you.

I remember on the day before my graduation, I was going through my computer and my Photo Booth just reflecting on my freshman year to my senior year. Even on graduation day, I made sure I captured my last moments in my dorm room. Who would have thought a girl who almost gave up on college her freshman year due to medical conditions, constantly working at least 2 jobs with taking 6 classes every day for 3 semesters straight, or even away from home for months would finish school on time? I'm highly thankful for the friends I've made along the way, my EOP family I gained and most importantly God for helping me deal with so much. Now I am know for sure whether challenges and obstacles come my way, I will persevere through it all and become even stronger as a person.

With that being said, I'm going to share with you my college experience recap in September. Lol it was an interesting one. Also be ready for my next moves as a recent graduate student. What's Next is for me to make my dreams come true and put actions to my goals.

Lastly to my peers in Class of 2017: WE DID IT!

Let's Get Social

Hello everyone,

Guess what? I'm finally a college graduate! I'm going to share with you all a small snippet of my college journey later on this week on Friday, May 26th. With that being said, it's finally Summer Break for majority of college students at this time of the year.

socialevent

Summer is coming around the corner! As a student who studied Business Administration and Event Planning, I am prepared to make sure that this summer is a FUN for everyone I know. This post is titled "Let's Get Social" for a specific reason. I wanted you to become more social and ready to have fun.

Before I finalize my planning for this summer events that Truth By Bella is going to have, I need your help. Being that I received plenty of positive feedback on my questionnaires, I created a fun, short one to get some insights on what I should tailor for my upcoming events. Click the Social Questionnaire to start!

Since you're reading this post right now, it would be awesome for you to participate in taking my questionnaire. I promise you, it only took me about less than 3 minutes to complete.

Thank you for your help and time,

Isabella, Truth By Bella

Did It Last?

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

If you guys were with me right now, you would probably hear how excited I was saying "Happy Wednesday". I'm always excited to share new things with you all, especially keep you all updated with this one week challenge of mine. So if you read my previous blog post "Bye, Bye Starbucks?" & saw my video on Instagram , you would know exactly what I'm talking about.

In case you haven't seen either of those, I will give a quick summary of what my challenge was all about. So basically since I've been in college and especially in this semester of college being my last, I've been finding myself constantly ending up at Starbucks on campus at least twice a week. I always like trying new drinks and find it relaxing after having a tasty Strawberry Refresher. As school starts to wine down and crunch time is upon all college students, I realized how addicting Starbucks was to me. I wanted to challenge myself to not drink Starbucks for a week (7 days, in my book). I had some support from a few friends and even heard some who thought I wouldn't even get past 3 days without breaking the challenge. So here's a video update below of my challenge that I promised I will share with everyone! Also revealed my 1st Giveaway Winners in this video below
